Anaheim area residents are invited to participate in a variety of community events, fundraisers, and social gatherings scheduled for November and December. These events offer opportunities for holiday shopping, supporting local causes, and connecting with neighbors within and around the Anaheim community.
The Jack and Jill Guild of CHOC Children’s is sponsoring its 52nd Holiday Home Tour and Boutique. The home tour will feature three homes in the North Tustin area on November 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for the home tour are $75 per person, with proceeds benefiting the NICU Department and Cranial Facial Surgical Department at CHOC Children’s, which is part of Rady Children’s Health. Pre-sale tickets for the home tour include a box lunch from The Lost Bean, available for pickup at the boutique on Friday. For home tour tickets, individuals can call 714-390-7001, email [email protected], or visit the Jack and Jill Guild website at jackandjillguild.org.
Accompanying the home tour is a holiday boutique. The grand opening for the boutique is set for November 12, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Clifton Miller Community Center in Tustin, located at 300 Centennial Way. This opening event will include complimentary wine and cheese. The boutique will continue on November 13, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission to the boutique is free to attend. It will feature 41 vendors and artisans, who will donate 20% of their sales to the fundraising event. This offers an opportunity for early holiday shopping while supporting a charitable cause.
Another significant fundraiser is the 64th annual Holiday Tree Luncheon, sponsored by the Guilds of CHOC, taking place on December 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Hyatt Regency on Jamboree Road in Irvine. Tickets for this event are $150 per person. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the newly established Resilience Program at Rady Children’s Health Orange County. This program is an extension of the current Child Protection Program and aims to provide comprehensive care to patients in the Foster Care Program through a dedicated ambulatory Resilience Clinic. The luncheon will include a signature Holiday Tree Raffle, with trees designed by local designers and guild members, alongside a silent auction of gift baskets and experiences, and a live auction. A gourmet luncheon prepared by the Hyatt Regency’s executive chef is also part of the event. Valet parking will be available. Seating for the Holiday Tree Luncheon is limited, and tickets can be purchased online at treelunch2026.givesmart.com.
For those looking to support local youth and children’s ministries, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Orange is hosting a holiday boutique on November 7, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Located at 1250 E. Heim Ave in Orange, this family-friendly event welcomes adults and kids. The boutique will feature a range of vendors offering handcrafted gifts, jewelry, home décor, specialty food items, holiday items, and unique treasures. A bake sale, sponsored by the Women’s Ministry, will offer homemade baked goods and treats. Children can also enjoy a scavenger hunt throughout the day. This event serves as a fundraising opportunity to support programs and activities for the youth of the church. For vendor or additional information, interested parties can contact the church office at 714-637-2640.
The Anaheim, Orange and Villa Park Women’s Connection has organized a Thanksgiving celebration on November 9 at Black Gold Golf Club. All women are invited to attend. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. for socializing and shopping with on-site vendors, including Linda Banzuelo from Pretty Fancy Boutique. Lunch and the program will follow at 11:30 a.m., concluding at 1:30 p.m. The program will feature Deb Sammons demonstrating a bread cornucopia, music by Haley Long, and guest speaker Sue Kosta discussing “Practicing Faithfulness.” The day will also include hostess gifts and door prizes. The cost to attend is $35 per person, and RSVPs should be directed to Barbi Zipperman at 714-280-9062.
Community members are also encouraged to participate in a blood drive sponsored by the Deacons at Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church. The drive, held in conjunction with the American Red Cross, is scheduled for November 16 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall. This initiative aims to help replenish needed blood supplies. A single blood donation can save up to three lives, and blood is required every two seconds in the U.S. Donors contribute to helping various patients, including accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and individuals battling cancer. Deacon Mary Jo Mursa is coordinating this blood drive. Appointments can be scheduled at RedCrossBlood.org by entering the Sponsor Code: CanyonHills.
