Anaheim residents, hospitality workers, and small business owners should be aware of upcoming changes to shuttle transportation at Disneyland Resort. Hotel guests utilizing Good Neighbor and third-party shuttle buses will experience a new drop-off and pick-up point starting early November, as Disney Dining reported.

The current shuttle system will conclude its operations at the South Harbor Boulevard entrance, located near the Esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, after Sunday, November 1. Beginning Monday, November 2, shuttle buses will cease serving this location entirely.

The new designated loading and unloading area for Good Neighbor and third-party hotel shuttles will be on the west side of Downtown Drive. This location is situated near the Disneyland Hotel valet loop and is described as being just steps from the Lululemon store within the Downtown Disney District. This area is already a hub for various transportation modes, as rideshares and the Toy Story Parking Area shuttles currently utilize this space.

This adjustment in shuttle services is driven by ongoing construction efforts on the eastern side of the Esplanade. Disneyland Resort has undertaken the demolition of several existing ticket booths in this area. The purpose of this demolition is to facilitate the construction of a new pedestrian bridge, which will ultimately connect to a new, larger parking and transportation hub that is currently under development.

Once completed, this new transportation structure is projected to significantly enhance guest services. Plans for the hub include approximately 6,000 parking spaces, over 300 electric vehicle charging stations, a dedicated security office, and specific zones for both rideshares and shuttles. This development is part of the broader DisneylandForward expansion project, which aims to accommodate anticipated increases in traffic and visitor volume when new attractions and experiences become operational within the resort.

These upcoming new experiences include a reimagined Tomorrowland area at Disneyland Park, as well as new attractions based on the film "Coco" (2017) and the Avengers Campus, both in development at Disney California Adventure Park. Disney Parks announced that specific attractions, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab, are slated to open at Avengers Campus in 2028.

Individuals staying at offsite hotels are advised to contact their hotel front desk or shuttle operator for precise information regarding the new pick-up point before traveling after November 1. With the starting point of the walk to the Southern California Disney parks shifting from the Esplanade to Downtown Disney, guests should plan to allow a little extra time for their journey to the park entrances.
