Anaheim is setting the stage for a series of initiatives and promotions centered on the upcoming winter season, running from January through early March. This period is being highlighted for its mild Southern California weather, potentially reduced crowds, and an opportunity to experience a different aspect of Anaheim following the bustling holiday season.

Specific travel promotions are being offered, which require a minimum two-night stay. Bookings for these promotions are available from October 15 through December 31, 2026, with valid travel dates extending from January 7 to March 20, 2027. Interested parties should note that blackout dates may apply to these offers.

An additional component of these promotions involves a charitable contribution. When hotel reservations are made through Get Away Today, a portion of the booking proceeds is designated for donation to Caterina’s Club. These funds are intended to support the club’s ongoing efforts to help feed families within the Anaheim community.

Further emphasizing local life, an initiative named “Locally Loved” has been developed. This collection was compiled by surveying Anaheim and Garden Grove residents, asking them to identify their preferred local spots. The places shared by residents span a variety of categories, including neighborhood restaurants, lesser-known establishments described as ‘hidden gems,’ and favorite venues for drinks, treats, and entertainment.

The “Locally Loved” compilation is presented as a resource chosen by individuals most familiar with Anaheim, aiming to serve as a guide for those looking to explore the city beyond its major attractions. This approach underscores the availability of experiences that do not necessarily involve the city's larger, well-known destinations. The broader context of these initiatives suggests that not every meal or outing needs to be a major event, pointing to a focus on everyday local experiences.

In conjunction with these programs, a drawing is also being promoted for a $500 gift card. This gift card is provided by The Outlets at Orange, and full terms and details regarding the drawing are available.

Collectively, these initiatives aim to draw attention to Anaheim’s community life and diverse local offerings during the quieter winter months, while also contributing to local family support through partnerships like the one with Caterina’s Club.
